William loved spending time with friends and family, and his dog Brooks. He was a best friend to his big sister Madelyn. He could often be found on the sports field playing football, baseball, or soccer. He was a hard-working second grade student at Loker School in Wayland where he was a caring friend to his classmates. William loved building legos, playing video games, drumming on his drum set, and reading graphic novels. He was an expert at making pancakes and boxed macaroni and cheese. He was happy, funny, full of energy, and lived every moment to its fullest. He brightened the lives of all those around him. 

William truly loved the Loker community. He would talk endlessly about his classmates and teachers. The McInnis Family was touched to read the cards and memory board and see the special connections he shared with so many of you. They feel so grateful that Loker played such an important role in his short life.  Please continue to keep William in your thoughts and his memory strong. Remember his kind inclusive spirit, warm energy, contagious smile, and adorable freckles. Think of him at the soccer, football, or baseball field. Never hesitate to share a story about William. We miss him so much but we are so proud of the positive impact he made and all the lives he brightened.
